Institutional facts compiled from public sources
Sourced content, traceable material
Two questions decide every item we publish: is the source clear, and can the conclusion be reproduced?
Traceable sources
Every item carries a topic, date and institutional source, so it can be checked and cited.
A materials view
Starting from composition, process and failure mechanisms to explain the limits of material choice.
Watch and read
The channel presents findings, the articles supply data and evidence, each pointing to the other.

About the association and committee
Founded in July 2015 by connector, cable assembly, equipment and material manufacturers, the Shenzhen Connector Industry Association now has more than 400 member companies across the supply chain. Its scope covers industry research, member exchange and training, with ongoing work on group standards, intellectual property and industrial research.
The Advanced Basic Materials Committee, formerly the Advanced Basic Materials Application Research Center, focuses on how copper alloys, plating and surface treatment, and engineering plastics perform inside connectors, and connects material suppliers with device makers.
