In 2025 the association organised a series of technical exchanges around material applications. On 15 February, a delegation led by Zhang Ying of China Gold Technology joined the composite metal research centre and the Shenshan Zhongjin Lingnan materials team to discuss sample validation and market adoption of composite metals in connectors.
On 26 March the association hosted a closed-door online session on robotics market trends with Dr He Hong; on 27 March, Zhang Jianchun, president of the Yueqing Connector Industry Association, visited and the two associations signed a strategic cooperation agreement.
On 5 September the second connector injection moulding seminar focused on thin-wall forming, with experts from Fanuc, Tongnai Information and Polyplastics LCP covering equipment application, process effects on mechanical properties and warpage, and high-flow LCP solutions.
A July ANSYS workshop addressed insertion force and thermal stress, while a December seminar on connector technology and key materials featured Yang Fenwei, formerly of the Shanghai Academy of Spaceflight Technology, on standards paths and contact copper quality.
