From 15 to 17 October, the China (Wenzhou) IoT and Sensing Conference took place in Yueqing. The 6G Future Industry Development Seminar on 17 October was co-hosted by the Yueqing Connector Industry Association, the Yueqing New Energy Industry Federation and Wenzhou Yihua Connector, with SZCIA as a co-organiser.
Yueqing hosts two national-level clusters — communication connectors for SMEs and electrical advanced manufacturing — and has built a matrix covering high-speed connection modules, high-frequency harnesses and network communication precision parts.
Speakers covered the overall 6G development path, the opportunities and challenges of 6G access interconnection based on 5G commercial experience, the latest standardisation progress and key technology verification, and the evolution of high-speed connectors in the 6G era.
SZCIA secretary-general Tang Shengwu attended with more than 80 member companies. The seminar called for a connected chain from technology research through pilot validation to industrial deployment, and for a fuller sensing–connection–control–service ecosystem.
